A few details can help identify the right next step. Call if you are unsure which battery your vehicle needs.

What information should I have ready?
The make, model, year and registration. Tell us what happens when you try to start the car and whether it has a start-stop system.
How do I know whether the battery has failed?
Slow cranking, clicking, dim lights or a battery warning light can indicate a battery or charging issue. A proper check is needed to tell the difference.
Does my start-stop car need AGM or EFB?
It depends on the vehicle specification. Check the handbook or call with the registration, make, model and year.
Do you work on electric cars?
This enquiry is limited to a vehicle's 12V battery. High-voltage traction battery work is not included.
What happens to the old battery?
Ask when you call whether collection and recycling of the old battery are included in your quote.
What does a fitted battery cost?
Batteries are supplied and fitted for a €150 call-out, plus the battery (price depends on the battery), with a €100–€500 guide depending on the vehicle. Call to confirm the correct battery and full total.
Is a car that won’t start always a battery problem?
No. A tired battery is the most common reason, but a starter motor or a charging fault can look similar. Describe what happens when you turn the key and we will tell you whether a new battery is likely to be the answer.
Can the battery be replaced at my home or work?
Yes. The battery is supplied and fitted where the car is parked, in Dublin or Meath. Tell us where it is and how we get to it.
